Ferretly wins $25k grant from pitch competition
Ferretly is a powerfully simple web platform that allows organizations to easily perform social media background screening on candidates and employees. The company recently received $25k in cash after pitching in a competition of 50 startups that applied to the Shore Hatchery, hosted by the Perdue School of Business.
The competition consisted of one minute, Shark Tank-style pitches to a panel of judges who awards pitch winners with non-dilutive capital.
“Ferretly is poised to be a leader in helping organizations make good hiring decisions,” stated Kathy Kiernan, Shore Hatchery Judge & Principal at Open to the Possible Coaching & Consulting. “Darrin Lipscomb and his team are experienced, competent, and devoted to being best in class.”
