Immersed, with a $60 million pre-money valuation, is raising crowdfunding on Wefunder. The technology of Immersed allows users to work together, even while working remotely. It allows users to collaborate, whiteboard, and pair-program, just like working together in-person.
Immersed was founded by Renji Bijoy in 2017. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum target of $249,997 and a maximum target of $5,000,000, will be used for tech infrastructure costs, equipment, hiring, travel and conferences, and legal and operating costs. Immersed has partnered with Facebook to launch to millions of Oculus users in the next few weeks. The technology is highly advanced and allows co-workers to teleport to each other’s virtual offices to collaborate.
Equo, with a $6 million valuation cap, is raising crowdfunding on Wefunder. The company makes eco-friendly alternatives for everyday use items, including disposable drinking straws and disposable cutlery. The products are made up of a variety of materials like grass, sugarcane, coconut, bamboo, and rice.
Marina Tran-Vu founded Equo in January 2021. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding raise, with a minimum goal of $50,000 and a maximum goal of $1,000,000, will be used for inventory, sales staff, marketing, innovation, quality control, and operations. Equo offers mandatory products to the market after the global government bans on single-use plastic. The company and its products have also received several awards and people’s attention.
SimpleShowing, with a valuation cap of $16 million, is raising crowdfunding on Republic. SimpleShowing is an innovative and new way to tour and buy a home. The home buyers initiate showings according to their convenience, without paying any cost for the tour. They are also entitled to a share in the commission equalling 1.5% of the home price. SimpleShowing is real-estate for the modern world.
The company was founded by Fred McGill and Jeremy Gamble in January 2018 and has raised more than $1.6 million in previous rounds of funding. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum target of $25,000 and a maximum target of $1,070,000. SimpleShowing already has monthly revenue of $100,000, with a 140% user growth and 41% compound annual revenue growth since 2018.
