Meet GROUNDFLOOR’s Co-Founder, Nick Bhargava
GROUNDFLOOR was founded in 2013 by co-founders Brian Dally and Nick Bhargava as a new way to serve self-directed investors instead of institutional ones.

Nick is the co-founder and EVP of Regulatory Affairs at GROUNDFLOOR, a wealthtech platform that gives everyone simple and direct access to private real estate debt investments. With over 15 years of experience in the financial and investing world, Nick has focused his career on regulatory and securities law.

Nick was an early advocate of Title III of the 2012 JOBS Act, which paved the way for companies to offer investment securities via crowdfunding. Nick’s financial background includes work for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), TD Waterhouse, and RBC Financial Group.โ

“We are the first and only issuer of payment-dependent real estate notes ever qualified by the SEC under Regulation A+,” notes Nick. “We believe providing investments directly tied to this type of real estate credit is not something that has been done for the retail investor and that no other company offers what GROUNDFLOOR does for individual investors and borrowers.”
