• Bootstrapped to $2 million ARR, profitable
• 20% month-over-month growth since after 1st year
• Disrupting the $1 trillion trucking industry
• Now raising first round of funding

There is currently a major shortage of qualified truck drivers in the U.S. It costs trucking companies $4,000 to $8,000 to hire a new driver, and turnover in the industry is high.
Relay makes it easy for companies to hire truck drivers on-demand, and offers a solution that benefits both drivers and trucking companies. The business model is similar to Uber’s, but for commercial trucking instead of personal transportation.
So far, Relay has signed up more than 1,000 drivers and 400 carriers (trucking companies). It has managed to “bootstrap” its way to $2 million ARR with no outside funding, and the company is profitable.

Relay growth July-Dec 2020
Relay gives truck drivers the freedom to work the jobs they want, when they want. It allows companies to easily hire qualified drivers on-demand, for a day or a month. Relay’s intelligent matching system automatically matches up drivers with jobs that suit their experience.
Relay’s app works on iPhones, Android, and the web. It is highly rated in both app stores, with a 4.6 out of 5.0 star rating on Google’s Android store, and 5 out of 5 star rating on the Apple App store.
Relay is now raising its first round of funding, and plans to expand nationwide over the next five years. You can find much more detailed information on Relay’s deal page. In the video, the founder clearly outlines his vision for the company. The video also features a customer talking about his experience hiring drivers through Relay.
