VasoGnosis announces its first non-provisional patent

VasoGnosis recently announced that the company’s provisional patent application was converted to a non-provisional patent. The company’s founder and CEO, Dr Ali Bakhshinejad is the lead inventor on the patent application to which the company has exclusive rights.
If granted, this patent will provide broad coverage for VasoGnosis’ proprietary technology to combine deep learning, a type of artificial intelligence with brain images in order to increase the accuracy and efficiency of aneurysm detection.
Today, more than 152mm people worldwide are suffering from brain aneurysms. About 50% of all brain aneurysm ruptures are fatal – claiming 500k+ lives annually. Of those who survive, about 66% suffer from a permanent neurological disability for the remainder of their lives. VasoGnosis’ non-invasive technology aims to assist neurosurgeons and interventional neuroradiologists to make better decisions impacting quality of life.
